    i was suprised you used a networked msg area instead of a local area.

    also that bbs runs on a weird port so how'd you find it.

    There may have simply been an advertisement for the BBS posted somewhere.. You don't need to go probing ports on a domain to find a BBS.

    For someone who claims to be a "BBS expert" all the time, MRO often
    shows his clueless nature like this. It certainly could have been a
    posted BBS ad, or perhaps the person saw it somewhere like this:
